Local groups across Ireland are preparing to welcome newcomers

They’ll be there for the everyday things that can make somewhere new begin to feel like home and they’ll continue to support each newcomer for around two years. Right now, each group is looking for someone who could help with another important part of that welcome, a room or home.

Would you be against offering an available room or home?

Tell us whether you have a room in your home or a whole home that you might be interested in making available and we’ll send you more information and give you the opportunity to speak to someone one-to-one. You don’t need to have everything figured out before getting in touch.

You'll have support

Community Welcome brings together a small group of people in the local community to help a newcomer settle into life in Ireland. That can mean meeting them at the airport, helping them navigate appointments and paperwork, practising English, getting to know the area, and simply being familiar faces as they find their feet. When you offer a room or home, that local group is there too, helping the relationship to work.
