Become a Welcomer

Community welcome brings people together to help newcomers settle into local communities across Ireland. Whether you are an individual or a group, you will have something unique to contribute. We can help connect you with others and offer guidance and support.

For those looking to welcome

There are lots of ways to welcome – whether it’s helping with the airport pick-up, finding a school place, or having everyone round for a cup of tea once a week – every contribution adds up.

Many people worry they don’t have the time to welcome, but as part of a group there is flexibility and support for welcomers as well as newcomers and we are here to offer advice and guidance at each step of the way.

For Property Owners

Accommodation is central to successful community welcome. Offering a spare room or helping a family find a suitable first home in Ireland, is one of the most significant acts of welcome possible.

Whether you own your property or rent, if you have a place to offer, we would love to hear from you. We can offer support, guidance and can connect you with a welcome group or newcomer.
